The story
Polo Signature 26
Eight colourways is the widest range in the collection. White and navy sit next to orange, lemon yellow and bougainvillea pink. On an entry-level piece that is a choice: the colour does as much work as the marking.
The fabric is an organic cotton piqué with 5% elastane. The elastane does not make the polo stretchy enough to lose its shape; it keeps the armhole from pulling when you raise an arm, which is all it is asked to do.
The marking, on the other hand, is everywhere: a round badge on the left, the edition lettering on the right, blue-white-red tipping on the navy collar and at the cuffs, a North Sails patch on the sleeve. This polo is not the quiet one. For that register, the Premium exists.
